Rachel Scattergood
RMT
In 2020, Rachel completed her studies at Medix College in Brampton and became a registered member of the CMTO in 2021. Originally from Mississauga, she pursued horticulture after high school and has always thrived in physically demanding roles. In 2017, she decided to switch careers and returned to school for massage therapy.
Following a year of work at a massage clinic in Mississauga, she relocated to picturesque Collingwood to be closer to her partner. Enamored by the fresh air, stunning scenery, and welcoming community, Rachel has experience working with clients of various ages, specializing in Swedish, relaxation, and pre-natal massages. She takes pleasure in building relationships with clients to understand their objectives in pain reduction, improving mobility, and fostering well-being. Rachel emphasizes the importance of post-treatment maintenance, advocating for a combination of regular sessions, self-care exercises, stretching, and recommendations for heat/cold therapy to ensure clients can continue to benefit from and build upon the effects of massage therapy.
Despite being new to Collingwood, she is enthusiastic about working at a clinic where community members can witness their goals being achieved and observe enhancements in their condition with each session. She is also looking forward to enhancing her expertise in massage through further education to reach out to a wider audience.

RMT

I aspire to create a welcoming and judgement free space for clients to unwind and release the tension their bodies accumulate from the stresses of life. I work hard to reduce pain and increase mobility so you can get back to doing the things you love.
